Fast-growing firm The Real Brokerage is welcoming yet another top-performing agent to the company. Arizona-based David Newman and his 12-member team, David Newman Partners, are moving to The Real Brokerage, according to an announcement on Wednesday. He and his team were most recently brokered at Hague Realty in Scottsdale.

Another independent brokerage has chosen to align with RE/MAX. The brokerage will now operate under the name RE/MAX The Collective. Larson started her career in real estate as an agent at a large national franchise in 2014. The new firm is owned by Haley Larson, who joined RE/MAX with her 17 agents.

The rule change will prohibit listing brokers from paying buyer’s agents and will instead require sellers to pay them directly if they choose to pay them at all. There is certain to be a segment of the seller market who will adopt the attitude of if they want to get paid, let their buyer client pay it.
