STATE LICENSING If a state-licensed real estate agent had the ability to appraise property with the same level of precision as a state-licensed or certified appraiser, an agent would not have to go thru the same process and testing that a state-licensed or certified appraiser goes thru, would they? Both require a skill.

Most of the inspection training we receive as appraisers happens in the field. That was my training. Very interesting.

Then you can bring on new clients; you’ll have sufficient staff for higher-volume periods—and, while you’re training the new people, you’re revisiting the basics and refreshing your own skills.
