When USPAP started, it was very exciting as appraisers had to decide what needed to be changed or added. 2024-2025 USPAP 7-Hour Update Course is being approved or is approved, in the states. It shows a fundamental lack of understanding of what appraisers do. Fannie Mae sees the appraisal process as “inspection + value.”
