Ready to create your first digital form? Follow along with the simple steps below to learn how you can create digital forms for free in the GoFormz form builder: 

  1. Sign up for free (or log in to GoFormz) from a computer. 

  2. Click ‘Create a Template’.

  3. Decide how you would like to configure your form: by uploading a PDF or JPG of an existing form (Form View) or by building your own form from scratch (List View). Select which view you would like to begin with. To learn more about Form View and List View, click here.

  4. You will be dropped into the GoFormz Template Editor, a drag-and-drop form builder that can be used to configure both from views. If you selected Form View, you will be prompted to upload a PDF or JPG of an existing form. If you selected List View, you can begin to drag-and-drop form fields to configure your digital form. In List View, your form fields can be easily organized within Tabs and Sections, while in Form View, you can use your cursor to arrange and resize fields as needed. 

  5. Once your fields have been added, you can adjust their properties in the Properties section, to the right of your form Template. Here you can change a field’s name, make fields Required, change their color or font, and so much more. 

  6. (Optional) Once you have configured your first view, you can add an additional viewing mode by selecting the tab at the top of the Template Editor window. 

  7. Save and preview your draft before clicking ‘Publish’.
