Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.

Endpoint launches nationwide notary platform

Digital title and settlement company Endpoint today launched Jot, a new platform to connect mobile notaries with home buyers and sellers closing transactions with Endpoint and First American Title.

Using proprietary technology, Jot's platform alerts notaries in its network to signing opportunities and provides real-time notifications that help them manage their business from their desktop or phone.

The platform also automates payments, so notaries receive weekly payments. In addition, Jot will give participating notaries access to workshops and other resources that allow them to build their professional network and help grow their business.

"Endpoint's mission is building the first end-to-end digital and title settlement experience to make the closing process easy for all and that inspired the creation of Jot," said Endpoint CEO Scott Martino.

Tech Helpline adds 8 new Realtor associations to the fold

Tech Helpline has added eight more Realtor organizations in North America since last May, bringing its unlimited tech support to more than 14,000 new members.

The new organizations include Canada's Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB), with nearly 7,000 members along with Southern Maryland Association of Realtors, the Lancaster County Association of Realtors, the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors, the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors, the Northern Fairfield County Association of Realtors, the Beaver County Association of Realtors, and the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg & Area Association of Realtors.

Each Realtor organization member has access to unlimited tech support provided by Tech Helpline, owned and operated by Florida Realtors, which calls it "the Genius Bar for real estate."

The additions mean Tech Helpline is now accessible via a mobile app launched last year to 750,000 members across the U.S. and Canada.

"Tech Helpline is one of the most popular member benefits for Realtors across North America because every real estate agent's business is powered by technology," says Margy Grant, Florida Realtors CEO.

Tech Helpline offers real estate agents bilingual support in English and Spanish, and a range of software and hardware solutions for tech challenges agents encounter daily. Support includes advanced file and computer recovery services, virus and adware removal from devices, Wi-Fi connection issues, software setup and mobile phone crashes.

Restb.ai launches AI-powered property descriptions service

Step aside, ChatGPT. Restb.ai has launched a bespoke AI property description service tailored to real estate agents in the US and Canada.

The Restb.ai technology uses AI-powered computer vision, natural language processing and large language models (LLM) to generate "unique, captivating, and human-like property descriptions" from photos and data provided by real estate agents when listing properties for sale on the MLS.

Available to MLSs, MLS vendors, brokerages and portals, Restb.ai's computer vision technology can detect over 300 property features, many of which go beyond the details available within a typical listing, and integrates with numerous third-party APIs to enhance and localize listings.

"Our 8 years of experience building real estate specific computer vision models, deep ties to MLS software vendors, and the recent developments in generative AI models make our solution a truly unique and unmatched offering," said Nathan Brannen, Chief Product Officer, who added that the tech can generate complex descriptions in just seconds.

The Restb.ai Property Description offers a selection of different tones and styles that allow agents to create listing remarks to match their personal brand. Once a response is generated, agents can add their final tweaks before publishing, or instantly regenerate another AI-produced alternative. Additionally, all descriptions highlight the property's best features while remaining  FHA-compliant and error-free.
