Meet with/learn from service providers such as loan officers, title companies, attorneys, home warranty, and insurance companies. Set clear expectations upfront about your availability. Remember what it was like during the crash after 2008, when there were very few loans, and appraisal volume severely declined? Mortgage lending is very, very cyclical. I agree that I would be world-famous and rich if I could predict mortgage lending cycles! They are definitely dedicated. Those who adapt survive.
