Cybersecurity Tips – The fraud event listed in the January Fraud Alert was uncovered when one of the two appraisers whose credentials had been forged, was contacted about an appraisal they had not performed. Practice recording it a few times before using it. Most of us forget about changing it later. Thanks for calling.

Let’s not consider what we were but what they want us to become. A few appraisers established relationships with a chief appraiser or someone else and have someone to contact now. I can hear the chorus of my fellow appraisers rising up in disagreement with me. I envision many of them screaming, “But I love being an appraiser”!
