According to the National Association of Realtors, existing home sales for April’s housing market came in at 5,8500,000. This was a miss from estimates and the third straight month of declines in sales. This sales trend looks very normal to me. My biggest fear for the U.S. BECOME A MEMBER TODAY.

Does your home need to be jacked up? Perhaps a better way of asking is, does your house need a lift? Occasionally, when performing appraisal inspections/observations, I see homes that suffer from serious settlement issues. I once appraised a home that had a noticeable tilt to it when walking through.

How is today’s housing starts data , which beat expectations, good for mortgage rates ? Typically good economic data is bad for rates, especially in this environment, when a Fed member will come out and say building or buying homes is bad for fighting inflation. That isn’t happening right now.
