Accurate Group, a leading provider of technology-driven real estate appraisal, title data, analytics, and e-closing solutions, announced Tony Pistilli will join the company as director of valuation operations and chief appraiser, according to a company press release.
In this new role, Pistilli will join the company’s leadership team and report to Steve Baczkowski, chief operating officer, of Accurate Group. Pistilli will lead Accurate Group’s valuation operations, compliance, valuation strategy and product innovation functions, including traditional appraisal, BPO (Broker, Price Opinions), inspections, data and analytics and ValueNet.

Most recently, Pistilli held the role of senior vice president, general manager of valuation services and chief appraiser for Computershare Valuation Services, LLC. Pistilli has over 30 years of executive level real estate appraising and lending experience with national banks, mortgage companies, federal agencies, and major appraisal management companies, the release stated.

Pistilli is a member of several appraisal industry organizations and is a subject matter expert for The Appraisal Foundation in the area of declining markets. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Colorado Real Estate Appraiser Board and is an AQB (Appraiser Qualifications Board) certified USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) instructor.
