Home price growth slows further in August

Annual home-price growth slowed further in August, with year-over-year price gain shrinking for the fifth consecutive month, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price Index , released Tuesday. Nationwide home prices posted a year gain of 13.0% in August, bringing the index to a reading of 303.76. In July , the index saw a year-over-year increase pf 15.6%.
