Valbridge Property Advisors, an independent commercial property valuation and advisory services, has added two new partners to its Baltimore-Washington metro office. The company’s client base includes lenders, special services, law firms, and other groups, according to a company press release.
Valbridge Property Advisors-Baltimore/Washington Metro, who also serves developers, property owners, and government agencies, recently welcomed Ed Steere and Michael Haller as new partners to its leadership team.
Steere started his career in public sector roles in the Fairfax County (Virginia) Department of Public Works, did planning in the Philadelphia suburbs for Chester County, Pa. and eventually in the Baltimore suburbs for Harford County, Md., the release stated.
After working in the public sector, Steere moved on to private sector work, operating in a solo practice and for an architecture and engineering firm before landing at Valbridge Property Advisors. He has more than 30 years of experience in the land development industry and his extensive experience in the fields of planning and market analysis have gained him certifications and membership on several boards and associations, the company said.
Steere specializes in all types of market analysis, planning, highest and best use, and impact on value and product placement. As a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and the Lambda Alpha International land economics society, Steere’s commitment to excellence in planning and advisory services has earned the respect and trust of clients throughout the Baltimore Washington Metro area and beyond.
Haller is senior managing director and leads all work in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. With more than 14 years of experience in valuation and consulting, Haller has worked on some of the most complex and substantial properties in the area including the redevelopment of the former Walter Reed Medical Center complex in Northwest D.C. and potential relocation sites for the FBI headquarters, the release said.
Haller’s experience spans all property types and includes litigation support across multiple states and the District of Columbia. Haller is licensed in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware; and also, is a board member of the Appraisal Institute D.C. Chapter.
