The 2023 National Association of Appraisers’ (NAA) Appraiser’s Conference & Trade Show (ACTS) comes to the Holiday Inn downtown Sacramento, Calif., from April 1-4. Valuation Review is here live to report on the many sessions, sights and sounds from ACTS.
We will be sitting in on several presentations including “Real Estate Economics-From 30,000 Feet and Below,” “Adapting to a Changing Appraisal World-Fresh Ideas,” “Support for Adjustments and Market Conditions” and “Defending Yourself With or Without an Advocate,” as well as updates from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Appraisal Standards Board in relationship to appraisal bias.
The event kicked off with an impressive opening night reception on Sunday, setting the perfect tone for education and engagement for Monday and Tuesday’s sessions. We also hope to catch up with past NAA President Bryan Reynolds and Josh Walitt, NAA's newly-elected president.
The opportunity to meet and greet many individuals in the profession is always a plus, both personally and professionally, and the state of California is waiting with open arms.
